Not much - only had 2 weeks off.
But I did manage to visit Indianapolis, and took a day trip to visit an old friend.
Wanted to share this pic of the two us.
Back when I went to college in Muncie, IN (good old Ball U - or as David Letterman calls it "Testicle Tech") we would drive up for picnics once a month or so. It seemed only right to pay my respects while I was in town.
I haven't been able to knit much this year with the demands of school, but I was able to get some fiber-related pieces in my Wood & Metal Sculpture classes. And print a few t-shirts - i'm wearing one in the picture. So that was fun.
p.s. There are some more interesting markers from Fairmount, Indiana on my flickr page.

Wow!
I didn't realize that was where James Dean was buried...of course when I went to Ball State for graduate work...he wasn't dead!
...the next year I taught at DePauw University...
You wouldn't believe it,
You wouldn't believe it, but, about 12 years ago, I was sitting in pretty much the very exact same place that you are in this picture, doing the very same thing!
I was going back to visit some family members.
I lived in Kokomo on and off. Went to school there...during some of the Ryan White days. That seems like SO long ago.

Hey Justin,
Nice pics! Enjoyed your flickr page, too. My household's a big fan of Hank III, so it was good to see those pics, too.
