Very beautiful! I'm starting to get a collection of unfinished balls of Shetlands wool so I can look forward to knitting something nice like this. Do you wear tams or give them as gifts?
Like your other one, this tam looks great. I'm intrigued that it is based around a 7-sided pattern, which isn't something I see very often.
I'm not familiar with Mary Rowe's book. I'm guessing it is the way increases/decreases are done that gives nice flat transitions from one set of colors to another, instead of rounded?
