Queen Anne's Lace Shawl

MMario's picture

The complete, proofed, test-knit PDF document is attached to this post.

Not necessarily the final version (grin) because I'm sure I will get questions, etc, but it is complete and as mistake free as I can make it at this point.

Well, it IS a brilliant pattern! Extremely beautiful and super easy! Not to mention super versatile. It's not just a shawl. I have more of the same Bartlett's Fisherman's wool that I used for my Hemlock Ring blanket that I'm going to use for a QAL blanket.

well - I think this is the final rendition of the pattern - I changed the yarn amount to reflect what Tom used in his test knit; added an alternative ending (at row 138) and made the last of the proofing corrections I know about.

If the file you have is dated 11/08/07 then you should be okay - otherwise you might want to download the attachment.

Thanks for the updated file,

Thanks for the updated file, Mario. I'll look take a gander at it and check with my notes to see if I notice anything else.

What can I say? I love this pattern. Am I your most addicted fan of this pattern? ... having completed one, a second on the needles at row 98 and a third on the needles at row 132? (I need to finish the third one before the second one since both QAL #1 and QAL #3 are to be Christmas gifts.) I've slated the weekend before Thanksgiving as the blocking time for QAL #1. So once that QAL is blocked, I'll post a picture of it in its blocked state.

the most anyone esle has

the most anyone esle has told me about is two on the needles, Tom, so you may have #1 fan spot. *grin* But I did have a copy of the pattern taken out of my hands this weekend at the retreat before I could put the stack I had for give-away down.
