Akismet's spam filter is one

Akismet's spam filter is one that learns over time. When it flags something as spam, it gets copied over to a moderation queue. When I mark it as spam or not-spam, it sends that info back to Akismet and, I'm told, helps train it so things gradually improve over time.

Your posts are flagged more frequently than others and I don't know why. Akismet, as well as most anti-spam companies, don't freely share their methods for detecting spam as it would allow them to be thwarted.

It's not a perfect, but when's the last time you saw true spam on the site? *knocksonwood*
