So far, the only other person thinking about taking the "Pilgrimage" is Brightbear. Has anyone else decided they are going? If so, how do we want to identify ourselves as Men Who Knit members so's we can find each other in the parks?

... of course you could all just trade cell phone numbers and call each other when you're in the park - I LOVE the comment from AMBush about rbthntschl going with only the purple sock - that made me fall over laughing! :)

I can't even imagine trying

I can't even imagine trying to find another person at DisneyWorld.

When my family hit DisneyLAND (a lot smaller place) we split into several groups - and the only time we saw each other all day until the scheduled "meet" back at our car was when security was chasing two brothers and a sister across Tom Sawyers Island -(as my Dad stood up in the maori war canoe yelling "Your're grounded!" and my Mom pretended not to know Dad *OR* my sibs).

(My oldest brother also climbed a rope up into the (closed to the public) Swiss Family Robinson treehouse - but neither secuirty or my folks caught him doing that.)

On the other hand we did run into some people from our home town - only 2300 miles away from Disneyland.

The benefit was that the groups got shuffled the next day and I got to go off in one of the groups WITHOUT my parents...

How do we identify ourselves???? Do you want that in US or millimeters? Or shall I just bring my Kathy Bates thing with the holes in it?

I'll be wearing my little

I'll be wearing my little purple sock with the rainbow heal and toe that I made for my last Disney trip in 2005. I was hoping to run into other knitters from the GLBT-Knits Group. And I suppose we could plan a time and place, too.
