It seems like every knitting book being published today is under the impression that this is the first knitting book you have ever picked up. They are totally marketing to the lowest-common denominator.
I agree with you 100%! This is my biggest complaint with the current market. I want books that will improve my knitting by increasing my knowledge of different techniques.
