Finished My First Pair Of Socks

I finally finished my first pair of socks. House socks out of cheap Wal Mart worsted weight yarn. Not fancy or anything but as their only my second project, I'm kind of proud of them.

They actually fit and amazingly enough they actually came out the same size. I was convinced I'd wind up with two different sized socks somehow.

Now I have to decide what I am going to try next. Another pair of socks, an Irish Hiking Scarf to learn cabling, or a hat. Decisions, decisions.

What a wonderful achievement in such a short time...my first socks took several months! Now that you have tackled double pointed needles..........why not go for a hat on circular needles and throw in some cables as well!

Thanks RCC.

Funny thing about this pair of socks. I did the first sock on double points and the second one on my new Options circulars using the magic loop method. I really liked the magic loop and will probably do all of my socks that way from now on.

I *LOVE* knitting

I *LOVE* knitting socks...because I can wear them!
...you might consider cabled socks...altough like short socks...so there isn't much room for cables...
