Last night my partner and I blocked my latest lace scarf. The yarn is Jaggerspun Zephyr laceweight, the design is Staggered Fern from Sharon Miller's Heirloom Lace to which I've added a garter stitch border. Zephyr is a delight to work with.
Beautiful scarf! I'm waiting on a delivery of Zephyr to start a lace shawl for a Mother's Day gift. I figure if I start now I just may get it finished by May.
Just our of curiosity how much yarn did you use to make the scarf?
I'm sure you'll enjoy working with Zephyr, and the finished result is so soft. The scarf took less than 50g (2oz) and is 8" wide and 7ft long blocked. It grew a bit in the blocking. I just weighed the leftover yarn, 16g (5/8oz). Thanks for your comments and have fun with your shawl.
