Komodo - the dragon bag

MMario's picture

I've mentioned my dragon shaped knitting bag in a couple posts - so have attached a photo of him. He has a large zippered pocket in his back (currently holding two skeins of knitpicks superwash "bare" yarn in fingering weight) and a zippered pocket in each haunch. I wish they had included another in his tail, but he can swallow an incredible amount of stuff as it is.

Also atttached is my first project of 2007 - an Irish Hiking Scarf in Jo Sharp Silk Road dk Tweed - colour 'Emerald'. It was suppossed to be nephew-by-marriage Christmas present two years ago - so about time I started it.

I just found out that the Senitt Doll and Puppet company who made this bag (and bunches of other animal baga) have stopped making them. So Komodo is now a collecter's item!

or maybe not - their own website www.senittpuppets.com doesn't say anything about discontinueing the bags.

They have a pretty wide selection.

I love the bag, Mario. And the scarf is wonderful. But, what is the Alien Spawn developing in the ball of yarn??? It looks really spooky. (%-O)
Hugs,

That bag is WONDERFUL! I love it! I can just picture you carrying it, knitting on the bus with a dragon at your side, to the great delight of children.

Boy, that scarf is popular this season: I know about 15 people knitting it....

Bob

Not tonight honey: I'm knitting...

BTW- I envy people who have access to public transportation - I have only lived once (for 5 years) in an area serviced by public transport.

It's been on my list for several years - finally got around to casting on. It's a great scarf - very simple but looks good, and an "easy" project for beginning cablers, but still nice enough for a gift etc.
