And if you know even a portion of any other language than English, you'll know that that is, indeed, the way it would be pronounced by ANY European-language speaker seeing the word for the first time... To pronounce it "skeen", you'd have to spell it skien, right? Okay, I think I'm way too bitchy of a commentator. Sorry. :)
