Welcome, Arron. I think you'll find there are more than a few male knitters in Australia. I'm in Sydney, and knit in a cafe in Newtown with the Sydney Sity Klikers (SSK), mostly women, every second Saturday. David Reidy from the Blue Mts has recently started a podcast from his site Sticks & String www.sticksandstring.com.au/ , and he is doing a fine job with it. If you look at the members list at MWK, you'll find a sprinkling of men knitters.
