Scarf beginning to Wave!

I started it last night - with manos - size 11 needles (circulars rock!) and my pattern from knitty.com - http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTwavy.html - it's a good scarf for me - I am not good at following patterns - I think I have done about 30 rows so far and it's starting to take shape! I know I am messing up a little, but I think with the varied thickness of the yarn it won't show up. my partner's best friend Chuck will love his scarf (if I don't keep it for myself!)

A gal at knit night is making this, I think in silky wool (5.5-6 st/in.) I'll be really interested to see it in a bulkier wool like Manos. How many stitches across (wide) are you doing?

I stuck to the pattern (42

I stuck to the pattern (42 sts) and it's ending up a pretty good width - I just put a photo on the posting (hopefully) so you can see what it looks like so far.
