Good Evening Fellow Knitters,
I tried getting together a knit-a-long on this blog once before without much luck. I thought i'd give it another shot. Since there was so much interest in a top-down raglan i found a free pattern on-line when i looked for a silk men's tee. Here is a photo and was wondering if anyone is interested in knitting it along with me. Thought we could start it in june or july. Any takers?

I have had this pattern on my queue for ages! Ok, it's time to do it. I have enough tsumugi silk from Habu to do it, too. Good choice.

Great. The group should have a blast! I think I am going to use a Fire Engine Red Debbie Bliss Prima 80% Bamboo and 20% Merino - 100m/50g. I picked up 14 skeins at $2.50 each in a sale bin a few months ago. I think it's going to workup beautifully.

Glad to see some interest in the concept of a knit-a-long. Let's plan for a June 1st start. So in preparation here is where you can locate a free download of the pattern. The garment is by Heidi Kirrmaier and it can be found on Ravelry. I searched the patterns for "Men's Silk Tee". The pattern is called Simple Summer Tweed Top Down V-Neck. Over 800 projects have been posted - some good and some not so. All different fibres have been used. So take a look and start planning.
It should be a fun project for this community of male knitters,
