Wow - I didn't realize it's been so long since I posted. So, I've got a few things accomplished that I want to show you. My last post was of a shawl by Romi Hill called Elektra.

It was very unlike me but I knit two more off of the same pattern within the next month and a few days. So, here's the pictures of each of them. The "Springtime in the Rockies" one (with the white border) was made for my wife, and the other for a friend of ours.
I also have several unposted items that I'll be sending this way over the next few days/weeks...sounds like I must have made this one of my New Year's resolutions, huh.

I myself have fallen in love
I myself have fallen in love with Romi Hills shawls. I did three of them in the last 6months. Yours are beautiful and I can't wait to see what else you have. Good to see you back here.
Great to see you back, Rick.

I really like the blue piece
I really like the blue piece on the Harp....that is my new goal to recreate that. Can you tell me what color you used one that? It is very pretty!

It was primarily a royal blue
It was primarily a royal blue and cyan. However it was hand painted so it also had bits of a primary color of green and bits of not-quite-neon green. I also used a metallic lined royal blue seed bead to outline the the triangles at the bottom and up the line that separated the pattern repeats. I have other pictures of it on Ravelry - name is rickmartin there too. This one appears to be the brightest of the pictures - but it's also the most accurate rendition.
Have fun,
Rick
