It's been a while since I've finished a project! Since I've spent so much time expanding the Cerys Baby Blanket on Ravelry, I haven't finished any other projects (fortunately, the acting projects have kept me busy enough not to have more than one project on the needles at a time). However, I needed a break from those stripes, so I cast on the Ravelry Brisbane Scarf in Thick & Quick Apricot, and it is excellent! A very quick knit that I was able to take with me on vacation, and a scarf that I'm sure will be more than comfortable for the fall.
Hope you guys like it!
Peace,
Joe

Beautiful scarf, Joe. The model isn't bad either. ;) I like the color you chose. It's looks warm and soft. Cooler weather is already entering the Chicago area, so the seasons will be changing soon and your scarf will be the order of the day. Thanks for sharing it!

Joe- I can't wait for those mornings =)
Scottly- There is certainly some waiting, but it comes in spurts. Right now I'm working on a one-man-show, though, so I don't see much of the wings haha
One man show - congrats!!!!
One man show - congrats!!!! What is it?
Thanks! The show is called
Thanks! The show is called "That's Not Right... A Mistaken Cabaret". The official show description is such- Joe D'Angio is a man who likes men, who wants to sing women's songs onstage for men and women. Does that make sense? Just come and laugh.
The show is basically a tribute to all of the musical theatre divas who have so greatly inspired me, and how their music has shaped me as a performer and a man, but I can never perform their songs because of this "pesky, exceptionally large penis of mine". It's a great night filled with laughs and awesome music. If anyone will be in the NYC area on November 3rd, you should come see the show at the Duplex Cabaret Theater (61 Christopher Street, NYC). Tickets are only $15 with a 2 drink minimum, but the show is an hour and a half- you'll definitely get your money's worth!
If you're interested, you can purchase tickets here: http://www.theduplex.com/webcalendar/view_entry.php?id=7035&date=20121103

Yes, that will keep your tonsils warm. Great color! I seem to remember lots of "hurry up and wait" involved in acting - lots of time to knit while waiting in the wings. ;-)
