Almost finished

These socks were knitted with two strands of laceweight 2ply merino Marta's Yarns www.martasyarns.com.au/ , she dyes her own yarns. The turquoise I bought by mistake (keying error) so I knitted it with the purple to tone down the colour a bit. The pattern is Nancy Bush's generic sock.

It looks kind of like a computer generated static...very binary.
Is the body of the sock done in a stockinette stitch?

fascinating how the two colours combine to produce the heathered effect in a third colour. and it looks great!
