Purl has some great selection

Purl has some great selection but their prices are high but again very nice selection.

Theres Seaport Yarn by WTC but Andrea can be a bit prickalie. The selection is over flowing with stuff but her personality sometimes makes the visit unpleasant.

School Products Yarns is supposed to be interesting.

Habu in Chelsea is really a place to see. Their yarn is unusual and beautiful but very expensive.

Lion Brand Yarn Studio is also worth checking out. Their LB Collection is nice to touch.

If you want Quantity vs. Quality you might want to check out Smiley's Yarn Store‎ in Jamaica. It's a bit of trek but you can find some amazing stuff there for the most amazing prices. I've picked up stash that has turned into some beautiful items.
