I made another square shawl for a niece. Although I have made lots of these, I find them interesting and relaxing. This one is made with Jamieson and Smith Shetland wool (colourway - Periwinkle) on 4.5mm needles. It measures 68 inches x 68 inches. I finished it with a sideways garter stitch border that I found in my "knitting book" and have no idea where I found it. It is pretty and only an 8 row repeat. I would use it again.

So laid out flat it would show concentric squares?
Can squares be concentric? Usually the term is used with circles - but since it means "common center" I guess it works with squares.
