Dazed and Elated post Christmas Knitting

Lookey Lookey

That's right... I got all eight pairs done as of this morning. I got up at 0430, brewed a pot of tea and sat and knit till the last pair was done. With that, Christmas knitting is complete! I can't believe it. I'm still stunned at just the thought. It's not even Halloween and I have all planned Christmas knitting done. You know what that means? Next year I'll get Christmas Knitting done around the following fourth of July. I threw the cosmos out of balance so I must pay dearly next time around. It's just the way it works.

As for Christmas weather, we got no snow accumulation to speak of, it's forcasted for the 50's the next several days and I have to shower and get outside to rake leaves. Have a great day.

We're all very jealous of course. I just cast on for a sweater for my sister-in-law. Adapting a flat pattern to circular. Should be fun. Guess I never was the conformist type.

I love them! I hope you don't mind, but I'm going to lift your color schemes. I love the navy/oatmeal combo. Nice job but what do you have planned for November and December? Easter bonnets? :->

Believe it or not, I have a project for me on the needles right now. Well, it maybe my own little post holiday knitting miracle. Don't worry though, the next large project is MMario's Queen Anne's Lace for a friends fund raiser. So all will be bqck to normal. As for color schemes have at it! I used cascade 220 if that helps. The blue and oatmeal was one of my favorites too.

Very nice, Quinton. And before the deadline, too. We knew you could do it. Great looking socks and I wonder if they've made you appreciate top-down any better. Just joking. See you around and congratulations on having your Christmas knitting done...I've not even begun mine.

I honestly don't prefer either way over the other, but do prefer two at a time no matter knit direction. See you Wednesday.

Well, good luck. If it helps, I've been at it for months. I also have three lace shawls completed for Christmas presents, so I was just on a theme... It's a relief to do something not for Christmas now.

WELL DONE! I'm just starting on my Christmas knits. Not too much to do this year. And I LOVE getting to explore these new mitt patterns I've got. Combining two of them to make one astonishing fingerless mitt! Beautiful job and happy raking!
