Hi Guys! After knitting two shawls, which I really enjoyed, I decided to take a bit of a break before starting on a third. They were fun to make but were more involved projects that took some amount of care and attention. So I broke out my newly acquired Big Book of Knitted Monsters by Rebecca Danger and made my first one. This isn't the first monster I've made with a Dangercrafts pattern, but it is the first one from the new book. I decided on Geet, The Garage Monster. I just found him to have a good "personality." See, here he is sitting in my cupholder!

He's even gone camping...

...and biking...

...with my partner and me. Anyway, just wanted to share the new project and include some pics of the results!

Good to see you again and meet Geet. Is that an "innie" belly button? He's quite a cute little guy. Hope you are doing well and looking forward to seeing more photos.

Hi Joe, it's funny that the belly button has been a big hit about Geet; Gregory mentioned it too. Since the time that I completed the second shawl, I have completed four other projects and have started a fifth, so I have to get on the ball and get them posted!

Thanks, yes it's been a while since I've updated anything here or on my blog. I've been keeping up on Ravelry though. But definitely need to get around to the blog now.
Hope you had a great visit to Maine!

Hello Ken: I just wanted to say that I went to your website to see if you had anything else there of interest. I liked the shawl pictures but I really liked those critters. They are too cute.
I just went to Portland in July for vacation. What a pretty place. Will be going back next year. I loved it. As a matter of fact, that is where my picture was taken.
Well, take care and keep on knitting!
