I saw a post on here from a long time ago. I'm new to SF and am looking for a men's knitting group. Are there any men who knit in SF? Where do you guys meet? Surely I'm not alone!!

I've gone to the Monday night

I've gone to the Monday night group and it's a great bunch of guys. Can't wait until I get to knit with them again.

I know the Cove! Been years

I know the Cove! Been years since I've been anywhere near the Castro (last time in the Bay Area my only time in SF was the airport and then BART to Berkeley). If I'm back I'll come knit a few rows with y'all!

this Men Who Knit site was

this Men Who Knit site was founded by Darrel..who was a member of our original Monday Night Knitting group!
We started at the Three Dollar Bill cafe in the GLBT center, and moved when the cafe closed. We've been at several cafes...but the folks at The Cove Cafe like us, and Mondays are a bit quiet for them...
We have a Yahoo group called MondayNightKnit, and a ravelry group with the same name.
Our knitting group is about half men and half women..many of whom are major contributors to the knitting lists.

We meet on Monday Night at the Cove cafe on Castro street, ( across from the Castro St. Theatre)...from 6-9pm. We'd love to meet you!
...our group is about half men.
