i accidentally ribbed these socks to the dutch heel before i relooked at the pattern- luckily they still seem to fit my model (68 yr. old mom)
made with leftover yarn ends

Those are really happy socks!! I always knit my ribbing down to the heel----gives me a better fit on my skinny feet, plus will stretch to fit most people. Keep up the Happy Knitting----you is doing GREAT.
