Need new knitting buddy

Poor me, my sis who knits moved to Oregon and got married. And sadly, I buried a cousin two weeks ago who was a lifetime knitter. Any guys in the northern michigan area who knit? Sure could use a new knitting buddy.

Try doing a search on Ravelry... there may be some knitting groups near you. I go to two around me and though I'm the only male I always have a blast. Plus they're always are great companions at fiber fests.

Im waaaaaaaay up here in

Im waaaaaaaay up here in Petoskey, about 30 miles south of the bridge. For everyone who's not a Michigander that would the top left corner of the middle finger of your left hand. So far, I've been invited to knit with the ladies at a local knit shop, but those are on Saturdays when Im working.
I might just have to matters into my own hands.

If we lived in the same town, I'd be your buddy. However, the best I can do is continue to be an on-line knitting buddy for you. Hope you find some others in your area. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
