So, for all of those guys going to Sock Summit, I was thinking that it might be fun to get together after it is all over on Sunday, July 31st. If we have enough takers, I'd be willing to host a fun knitting/drinking soriee.

If I was able to be there, I'd dearly love a chance to mix with you all. However, my main thrust this summer is the Rocky Mountain Retreat. Still, it is a great idea. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Well, it's two fold (he says, looking at the ground, shuffling his feet): 1) I'm only able to attend Sunday; and, 2) I was actually thinking of those who would be flying out Monday. I totally spaced all of those that are in the "sorta near-by" category (sorry). I would still be happy to organize if people want to do something on Thursday but I won't be able to attend.

That sounds kinda cool. But why Sunday when it's over instead of the evening before it begins? That way we all get better acquainted before hand .. I'm thinking if I'm able to attend, I've got a 4 1/2 hour drive to get home when it's over ... my 2-cents.
