A few weeks ago a friend of mine said some mean boys on her daughter's school bus took her favorite hat and threw it out the window. Can you imagine. I guess I can actually. Her name is Skye and the hat had the word Sky on it. She loved it. So... a commission came my way. Katie and her daughter Skye came to Fancy Tiger and she picked out some white and blue "Spud & Chloe" wool cotton blend yarn. It worked well I think. The first hat had to have her name in it and the second she decided she wanted to look like the sky with clouds in it. The two skeins were perfect. I have just a few yards of the white leftover. The name "Skye" is done by stranding and the clouds are done by duplicate stitch. I'm pretty pleased. I hope Skye will be!! I can't take criticism!!
