I have just finished a couple of gifts for my partner's nephew's wife and their new son born this week. Mittens for her and Jacket/Tam for the new baby.

Those gifts are quite lovely. The owl mittens are fantastic. The bit of yellow for the beak is a great touch and just right. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Those items are SO beautiful!!! I LOVED the tiny owl on the thumb--I live for things like that. That baby is going to look quite smart in such beautiful colors.
