I saw this somewhere and I thought some others might enjoy it.... Ha, ha! :-) Knitting is one thing that I like doing with my own hands!!!! How about you????
Very cute, indeed. I can imagine things going like this. I can multitask but that is only because I have been knitting for so long that it comes easier. Well, most of the time, anyhow. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
Seems like torture though, doesn't it? Kind of like "proxy knitting" or something. What a nightmare. Real needles. Real yarn. Real hands. We are very lucky we've got this craft. Very, very, very lucky.
I used to listen to books on tape while I knit, or I'd have a DVD on in the background while I knit. And then today, I read this piece about not multi-tasking and doing only one thing at a time. So tonight for the first time I knitted with nothing else going on. And I noticed two things: one, the work came out better, i.e., less tinking, and two, I enjoyed it more. That second thing was a bit of a surprise for me.
Sounds good to me! Think I'll follow suit........ At least once. :-) Other folk may not completely approve of my choice of quiet, but I love the idea! Nehkhasi
