My latest endeavor in the middle of my knitting, crocheting and weaving , is to spin all the fiber I have in my stash and I have a bit that I want to spin. My favorite to spin on the wheel has been the silk, but I know alpaca is very nice to spin as well. I have spun alpaca on my drop spindle and it is always nice to spin, very friendly to draft and such. Just sharing some of my spinning, these are singles of silk, that will be plied and have the twist set by morrow , and there is more to come. Thanks for stopping by.

Great looking yarns Andy, I love spinning silk, the long fibres make it so much easier. What type of silk are you spinning?

Very nice work, Andy. And it is true...practice is what counts. If I spun more often, I know I'd do much better. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
