CAUSE Hat relased

I am really excited to announce my first pattern is released on Ravelry! - check out the pattern:

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the pattern will be donated to breast cancer research. The color of the ribbons can be changed and the hat can represent lots of different causes... red - HIV, purple - pancreatic cancer, yellow - bring home the troops...

I'm proud of the design, and look forward to releasing another design in a day or two... which will raise money for HIV/AIDS research :)

I have to say, I love this

I have to say, I love this hat and have my own copy of the pattern now.

You have to know that if Kyle has done the pattern, it's going to be perfect and aesthetically beautiful at the same time!

that's a fun story

that's a fun story actually... I didn't have anyone to model the hat, and we were in Dolores park trying to photograph it... this lady was walking by and commented on John's dog (Dewey) - I asked her if she'd model the hat - about 30 seconds later I had taken a few photos and that was that.

I got her business card to thank her and send a copy of the pattern to her, and she's some big shot criminologist for Santa Clara county! She was really nice to just help out... :)
