This is the Elephant vest by Alice Starmore...and the yarn kit from her. The yarn is 2ply wool from Virtual Yarn. ( the Starmore company). The pattern is from "The Children's Collection" by Starmore, available on her web site for about $20. shipped from Scotland, (but printed in USA, so might be available from Amazon)...it's a size for a six year old. I loved knitting it...but decided part way through that it needed RED...(my grandson loves red)...so I ordered her Poppy Red...that's why part way up the elephants suddenly have red toenails!
I'm putting a zipper in it, rather than buttons...and lining it with blue cloth. It's great fun doing stranded colour knitting, so I'm working on a design of my own for me...
