Raining in Portland? Are you saying it rains in Portland in Dec? : ) Been there. We had 8" of snow here in Walla Walla, but last nights wind and rain washed that all away. After over a week of slipping and sliding, it's good to feel pavement under our feet and vehicles again.

No rain here, but we had

No rain here, but we had quite a lot of snow yesterday and today it's ca -20 Celsius (-4 Fahrenheit). It's a good thing I'm a wool junkie!

Not here. Not right now.

Not here. Not right now. In fact we've got smog today. It's a "spare the air" day in the Bay Area. If you go to http://scienceview.berkeley.edu/view/ you can see exactly how smoggy it is. It's a web cam in the Berkeley hills looking west from the Lawrence Hall of Science on the UC campus.
