That tapestry

waldorfbear's picture

Thanks for welcome and comments about the tapestry in background of my earlier pic, I've tried to get a better one attached, here. It was done needlepoint rather than on a loom. Was quite a labour or love. I am currently (OK it's part done and in a cupboard) on a cushion in needlepoint of David Hockney's 'Bigger Splash'.

The cardigan I am wearing was from Rowan's Pure Life Organic Cotton pattern collection ('Oak' was the pattern). Though I substituted the Rowan yarn for one by Paton's as I preferred the colour. It is a really nice knit to wear.

Current projects are wierding me a out a little as needle sizes are so different (from 3.25 MM for 4 ply jumper and 12 MM for a super chunky scarf) - fingers can't get used to it. Anyone else working on such extremes at the same time?

Very nice needlework. I

Very nice needlework. I have done some but knitting always crowds other such interests out. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
