Hi

Just wanted to get online with a bit of knitting talk with the guys. Some way away from most of you in the States over here in Oxford but its great to be online. Am wearing my most recent project (finished one anyway!). In background is a tapestry I did last year based on Patrick Caulfield's 'Pots' painting. Mixing up the fibre arts.

will update as projects happen, currently working on a 4ply Alpaca jumper and a super chunky cabled scarf, will upload pics when done. TTFN

Beautiful work, James. The sweater looks expert and and really well done. I'd love to see a full-on shot of that tapestry. (And it doesn't sound like I'm the only one who would either.) Any chance of that happening? Did you do it on a loom?

Thank god im not the only one in England!!! Your jumper looks great that you are wearing, and i love the picture in the background. another of my hobbies is painting, so i try to incorporate knitting into that too and try to diversify a bit with my materials.

Good luck with your 4 ply jumper. Im currently making a 4 ply cardi, however ive been making that on one of my knitting machines, not by hand.

I really love the sweater

I really love the sweater that you have on. The shoulders and collar look so comfortable. The tapestry is amazing, something I don't think I could do. Where did you get the pattern for the sweater ?
