pink and girly!!

I am so used to making things for men I thought this might be a new diversion. I litttle pink cabled number for my niece.

4ply (again ... why I am addicted to 4ply is beyond me) on 4mm needles.

A mix of Cables and Bamboo stitch with a roll neck collar.

It has been made to grow into as Hannah is only two but I made a size 3 as we are just about to hit summer.

Back to the men's stuff!! ;)

That's really cool. I just started a project as a Christmas present for my niece. It's a purple jacket with pink faux fur trim. Her favorite colors.

How cute! I'm sure your

How cute! I'm sure your niece will love it. If I was knitting this, I never would have thought to do a rolled collar, but it seems to work well for this sweater. I think it would also look adorable to have an attached hood with the pattern continued up through it.

Very nice knitting. I like the way you did a cable on the top of the sleeve with the purl stripes banding it in regular intervals. I think I'll keep that in mind for a future project. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
