Good evening friends...
We moved several months ago and are still catching up with all the changes and transitions. It's been crazy, and it's pretty much meant I've resorted to lurker mode here and over on Ravelry. (For the record, my lack of participation doesn't indicate any slow-down on appreciating all of the rest of your posts!) Finally, though, I've finished a little knitting project - it isn't anything fancy, but I'm happy to have finally finished SOMETHING!
Some of you might remember me posting about Petra's birth back in January and the picture shows how big she's getting! (I know.. you all were desperate for a new picture....) :-) We're doing well (and have a guest room!) about 40 minutes outside of Rochester, NY.
Pattern: "Lucky" out of Pipsqueaks.
Yarn: "I Love This Yarn" from Hobby Lobby.
Colorway: Sherbet Stripe

You move to upstate NY and drop into a black hole......*grin* or at least some days that's what it feels like.
Battening down for that Lake Effect snow yet?
It sure does some days...
It sure does some days... although I'm not sure that's upstate NY... it's probably just sleep deprivation from two children that don't tend to sleep very well.
The snow I'm ready for... I've lived in snow country all my life but I'm waiting to see if all you NYers are exaggerating! I've already been "blamed" for mosquitoes, cold summer weather, and rain on Sunday mornings... I didn't get the blame for hail, but I'm beginning to wonder if I'm a walking plague.... I suppose it's good for a pastor to be "biblical," huh?! Now, if only I could pull off that water-into-wine thing....
:-)
