So I just got my first spinning wheel! It's a Babe DT Production, not the nicest I know, but it's actually quite the little workhorse! Here are pictures of some punta wool and that Alpaca I had all spun up into 368 yards of lace-weight (ish) goodness. I plan to make a lace scarf (my first lace project) for my Grandmother who's going to be turning 82 in November. So the yarn is spun, guess I better get started!! (Pics below, the last photo is the finished product :-D)

I have never met a wheel I did not like. If it spins yarn, it is a friend. Very nice job on the handspinning. Very impressive. What may I ask have you been spinning on previous to have such skill? I am anxious to see more.

Well I started on a handspindle (bottom whorl) and did that for a few months, of course, I got hooked and just had to have a wheel so here I am!
