I just posted my second actual "For Sale" pattern on Ravelry. The first one has had an astonishing sale of two (that's right, TWO) copies in the past six months. This one has already managed 50 % of that. We'll see how it works.
Several of the people from M2K2 complained to Ravelry.....and the patterns I added today are registering correctly; I think. That could change.....
Patterns going up *were* (yesterday) being ordered based on when the PROJECT referenceing them went up - which isn't too useful when suppossedly people can set their browsers to find "new" patterns posted for download.
I just checked Ravelry and I see all the pics clearly. BTW beautiful work.
I just writes the patterns....almost all the pictures someone else knit.
Hm. I guess I'd be one of the "two"? I've been having big issues deciding on yarn for Limberlost...
no - limberlost isn't for sale on ravelry. Oestra is the one that has had only two sales in six months.
Holy KRAP! About half the photos that were posted are no longer visible....
Now I'll have to recover them all.....and repost.
I just looked at as many of your designs as I could...most have very blurry pictures...some have nothing, not even a chart to look at.
You deserve GREAT pictures!
Given that so many of your lovely designs are free...I'm not at all surprised that you've only sold two copies...with good pics they'd be flying off the shelf!
I've had other people say that as well - but the shots don't show as blurry on my screen or when I print them. So how can I tell?
