Green Apple Poncho

I just finished this poncho for my great niece's 8th birthday. She's built like a beanpole so I figured that a poncho would fit her better than my attempt at guessing her sweater size.

The pattern is Nina from Knitting at Knoon

The yarn is Cascade 220 Superwash in the shade Green Apple -- hence the name of the poncho.

Very lovely work. I think it is nice that ponchos are coming back into style...especially when you can't figure out sweater sizes to fit. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
