This weekend I am taking my family to Raleigh, NC to the 2nd annual Carolina Fiber Festival. It is part of the Got to Be NC Agriculture Festival at the NC Fairgrounds. They have dedicated one whole building to the Fiber Fest. There are supposed to be various animals, demonstrations, vendors, classes, and more. I wanted to take a beginning spinning class but we decided to cut our visit from two nights to one, so I am going to try to go to a spinning demo to see if I would like to try it in the future. The weather is supposed to be nice (possible Sat. afternoon storms, but we will probably be headed back home by then.) I am taking the camera and hope to get some good pics of the kids with animals and at least get to look at some good yarn. Hope this will be a great weekend trip. With my wife doing IEP meetings nonstop and Standardized tests for the past 2 weeks, we all need a break. Happy Knitting everyone!
