So, I'm going to delve into spinning. I found a place near my house that does lessons starting next Tuesday. They also rent wheels so you can practice at home. From the information that I gathered, the instructor also provides all of the fiber for you. Sounds pretty cool.

Good luck, Buck. What I've found frustrating is the fact that now that I can spin a halfway decent yarn, I can't spin up the great tick/thin designer yarns that make for such great texture! LOL Have fun. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Congratulations Geoff!
Another fly caught in the web! Don't get discouraged if your first spinning doesn't do what you intended...stick with it and you will be amazed at what you can make. Then it won't be long before you're looking at storebought yarn, and thinking "I could do this better!."
Are you going to MFKR? I will be spinning there, and so will some of the others, I'm sure. We'll get you a fiber stash going to go along with your yarn stash :)
