Unfortunately, or fortunately, depending on how you look at the situation, I've been way busy these last couple weeks. Especially since I'm getting ready to leave for another summer tour in Drum Corps. and I'm applying for college too. It's been lucky if I can sit down and knit for a little bit. Thankfully though, I stumbled across this super-easy pattern for a wrap. Since I had about 6 hours to kill, I knit this bad boy up. Nothing to big or grand, just a dropped stitch pattern. But I was (hopefully) able to make it look a little more masculine so I don't feel especially fruity when I wear it out. Well...I guess only us gays would have enough fashion sense to wear a wrap anyways....so strike that last sentence. Haha.
Edit:
Here's me modeling the wrap. I used a part of seagull bone that I found at the beach a while ago as a pin. It almost makes me feel tribal, in a way. Haha.

Very nice, Kev. Have fun on
Very nice, Kev. Have fun on your tour. We used to have competitions here in Casper, way back, as we're home of the Trooper's D&B Corps. Now, the nearest meets are in Colorado. Still, if you should hit Casper as part of the itinerary, give me a shout through the PMs, maybe we can meet up for a glass of tea. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

I used Lion Brand Jiffy, 1 ball each of Caffe, Camel, and Fisherman. I also want to make a little shawl needle, but I need to find the right wood.
