I have been working on my first sweater. I put it up on Manny yesterday before I joined the body and started on the arms to see what the stripe did. I am happy with it.

I have about 4 inches on one of the sleeves. So, this is going quite nicely. I have used 3 balls of the black and one ball of the skye color. I think it will be ok with the quantity of yarn. This is easier than I thought.

Nice Brad, that stripe came
Nice Brad, that stripe came out cool. I've thought of doing a striped sweater, but I'm kind of worried about how the front and back would match up. Is this done in the round?

Nice. I haven't been brave enough to try a top down sweater.
That is a great looking
That is a great looking sweater, Brady. I really enjoy doing top-down sweaters and most of the few I've done are knit that way. [All of the adult ones, for certain.] Looking forward to seeing the finished project. - p.s.: One good thing about Manny...he gladly helps you with fitting trials and doesn't make a fuss over it. Plus, you don't have to worry that he'll squirm and fidget. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.
