The WEB's Yarn Sale is Killing Me!

OMG! How much more money can I spend on yarn? I'm going to have to get to the mail box before the BF does. I always get this comment "Don't you already have enough yarn?". Ummmm...NO!
Do any of you get this same attitude from your spouse?
One of my other addictions is Mid Century Dishes. I have found that if I hide them away for sometime and then pull them out at some late date, he generally just asks, "When did you get those?". My reply is, "I have had these for ages." I think I'm going to have to start doing the same with yarn. However, he might not bitch too much with this batch as he picked out the yarn he wanted for the sweater I intend to make for him.

LOL My hubby was just

LOL My hubby was just telling someone the other day that I have enough yarn to open a store. The funniest part is that I have a very small stash (OK, so it has grown a bit in the last few months). The friend and employee of ours he was telling this to (Marilynn) has at least two rooms in her house full of yarns. I recently bought a yarn on e-bay that I didn't really care for when it came. I gave it to her. Marilynn promised to find me something from her stash in return. Instead (because she couldn't seem to part with anything in her house) she bought me some she knew I'd love (and I did)! LOL

Now, until you have two rooms full, I could maybe see being a bit concerned. I'm not talking about a few tubs in the corner either! In one room Marilynn has these custom made shelves that look like wine racks that go from floor to ceiling that have large X's on them rather than flat shelves where she has yarn all color and fiber coded. She has black out curtains on the window so the sun won't fade the yarn. The other room is almost as bad but has to double as a guest room so it's not quite as full. Her daughter (Lesli) is a big time sock knitter and has quite the stash of sock yarn. Marilynn was coughing the other day as she swallowed some tea down the wrong pipe. When she was OK, I asked her if she was going to make it. She said yes. I told her I'm glad, but if things were to take a turn for the worse to let me know so I could get over to her house before Lesli gets there so I get my fair share of her stash! LOL Marilynn just laughed and shot a rubberband at me!

Wow....I want a room like

Wow....I want a room like that. I think I'll have to wait until we get a new house as I don't think my DH will allow me to convert the guest bedroom. Also, the puppies are in there now. Oh...Now I know; our next home will have to have a guest bedroom, a yarn room for me and a puppy room!

You can never have too much

You can never have too much yarn!

It's better to live alone -- no one questions when I buy anything!

I got the new KnitPicks catalog and weakened...their new multicolour yarns are beautifully photographed...and the assorted colours in the mix are described...along with BIG clickable pictures!
...the last thing I needed was more yarn...

My husband is a jewler and has no room to bitch about "inventory". Yarn, beads, silver, stones that's all currency to us. The more you have, the more money you have in the bank.

I do get the same...when

I do get the same...when hubby finds out about my latest purchase. So I do my best not to let him know that I have bought new knitting supplies and he doesn't ask me if I have bought anymore. I have a closet in our son's old room where I keep all of my yarn. He knows not to go in there. But he never complains when he gets a new hat or scarf. :)
