I'm in a good mood today.

Lately, that's been a rare thing.

I guess there's no such thing as an instruction manual for the obligatory midlife crisis and since I don't drive, I suppose the sport car is out of the question.

...but today, even if it's only for a fleeting moment before the rest of the world comes crashing down once again...it's been a good day and I'm happy in it.

...just wanted to share with some of the folks that mean the most to me.

Hey, Robert, if a sports car

Hey, Robert, if a sports car will make you happier, then get one! Who says you need to know how to drive. The sporty car is all. You can sit in it and knit happily for hours at a time! And look darn good while doing it too!

Yah, I lost my instruction manual somewhere in the many moves, so am sort of going through this blind. Been interesting, to say the least.

I'm glad you're in a good mood. Joy and sorrow make up the fabric of our lives (as my username implies).

Robert, Kerry is right...get some wonderful yarn and settle into a new project. Hope the good time last for a long time. You definitely are too young for mid-life. Unfortunately, life at any age has it's ups & downs...may yours be mostly ups.

Hey Robert, still a bit

Hey Robert, still a bit early for you to reach the midlife crises I guess, surprisingly, I was accused yesterday of being different cos of same. Know what, who cares, enjoy life and let go of all the negative thoughts.

This time will pass Robert,

This time will pass Robert, and then you will have all good days. In the meantime I would follow the advice of Kerry and treat yourself to some nice yarn and knit one of your lovely sweaters.

I think the blues is a necessary part of this time in our lives. It's not so much a crisis as it is a right of passage and we each have to work through it in our own way. May the yarn be with you!

Yeah, Robert I've got the feeling recently that you and Mr. Scottly have not been in such great moods...sorry to hear! We all go through our periods (no pun intended). I'm glad you shared your good mood with us and sending lots of positive energy for it to take up residence! And, BTW, you're too young for midlife....maybe quarter life crisis.

Robert isn't a nice feeling

Robert isn't a nice feeling when you have those rare days that you are literally sitting on top of the world?

I also hope that feeling lasts for you also,

Long may your good mood last. In lieu of a sports car, you could treat yourself to some nice yarn :-)
