Welcome to the world of Men Who Knit! Hope you have a great time learning and there is always a lot of great advise and support here. What I always tell new knitters is, don't get discouraged. Knitting is like nothing you've done before. Once your hands get used to how to do it, it will come easier. And the best way to get better at knitting is by knitting.

Randy, remember most things seem difficult and overwhelming at first but knitting is really easy - definitely not rocket science. In a little while it will seem like second nature to you. My best advice is to always use good yarn, for a beginner I think wool is best. So, good luck and have fun. I can't wait to see your first project.
