I'm Going to be a Daddy!
Yes, it's true. I've been keeping this secret from you; my bitch is pregnant. Bella, one of my girls, flew down to LA about a month ago and spent a charming ten days with Turbo. The couple had a wonderful time. Bella had her ultra sound and, at this time, it appears that eight young ones are on the way. However, the vet says that puppies are very good at hiding and there are probably a few more.

Congrats to Bella, Turbo and you. I've been surrogate papa to several kittens [as well as the mean "uncle"] but not for some time. -- Books, knitting, cats, fountain pens...Life is Good.

Congrats Papa! I will live vicariously through your experience! I wanted to breed my chi, but the vet didn't recommend it because of her small size and anatomy. Can't wait to see the puppies! Bella is gourgeous!

a quick look at the genetics; if they both carry the brown gene there is a possibility of blacks, blues, apricots and a couple others. Suppossedly even two blacks could throw a cream, so thar is also possible.....

What fun...and plenty of pups to go around...will they all be similar colours to Bella...or will there be a whole variety of greys?

Dad is black and Bella is what they call blue. Both of them have the white and brown gene. More than likely the majority will be blacks and blues with a couple of whites and possibly a brown. I think brown poodles are super pretty.
