So just recently I came across a blog that showed projects made from plarn (plastic yarn) and tarn (t-shirt yarn) and I thought that the idea of
recycling old t-shirts or grocery bags was brilliant. Unfortunately, I don't have a collection of plastic bags to make plarn, but I have plenty of old t-shirts. So I improvised this really simple design for a tarn bag made from a wife-beater and an old athletic shirt.
The colors are a little too contrasting, but if you substituted an old brown shirt with the red t-shirt, it'd look pretty snazzy. Also, I made the drawstring out of the hems of the sleeves and bottom of the red t-shirt. Anyways, I'm not sure if anyone's interested, but if anyone wanted I could type out the pattern so it can be recreated.
