I'm planning on one very soon... I'm working on 6 (maybe 7) cowls for my family right now. I always do my Christmas gifts after Christmas - will be giving them away next week in Florida. I think the leftovers are going to make a nice striped hat. I can't wait to see how it turns out!!
Your hat loots great Albert!!! Hopefully mine will too.
Wow, Albert, it's absolutely gorgeous. For some reason, my leftover yarn never looks good together... I literally gasped when I saw this-the color combination is inspiring!

Actually, Ron, I did the decreases every 10th stitch, knit a random number of rounds, decreased every 9th, etc until after doing the last k1, k2tog round, I knit one round without decreases and then did two rounds of k2tog all around to finish off the decreases.
VERY Cool Albert! I've often thought of doing a "stash buster" piece, but I'm always nervous it will come out looking like the yarn monster threw up something! This looks awesome!
If some sissy tried to kick my ass I would say, "Hey, Mary, go knit me a sweater before I slap you in the face!”

Thanks, Ches! Spurn not your leftovers- sometimes if you add just one more color, or take one color out you begin to see possibilities.
