It is an afghan pattern and I have seen it pictured here before. It looks like an afghan that is made in rounds. Just different colored stripes. You start out in the center and work your way out. It looked very simple to do. I need a no-brainer right now. Can someone let me know or guide me to a picture please? Thank you.

I think it may be an afghan
I think it may be an afghan I knitted. I posted on June 22, 2008. There is a link posted for the pattern within the comments; it is now a free download from Lion Brand Yarn. I knit it using Paton's Classic Wool.
Hope this helps on your search.

Nice pattern. It's similar
Nice pattern. It's similar to square 18 of The Great American Afghan. The difference is that it's all one color and the square stripes are made over stockinette stitch. There's a picture of it on the cover of the book which you can see if you google The Great American Afghan.
I will check it out
I will check it out Tom.

No it is not, but it is very
No it is not, but it is very similar. The design is the same but it has some sort of optical illusion in it. I think instead of creatting the corners in the same place, they are moved slightly throughout the pattern. Very similar though. A good stab at it. I thank you sir.
