My New Year's Knitting Wish

albert's picture

I don't know how many people visit MWK, but if there are any knitters out there contemplating writing a knitting book, let me suggest two books I would like to see published: 1. A comprehensive stitch dictionary for knitting in the round. 2. A book of the charted Roman alphabet in many stlyes of script such as you find in word processing programs.

If anyone writes these books, please let me know so that I can buy the first copies. Happy New Year!

I have an old Letraset

I have an old Letraset catalogue that displays all of the letters and characters they sell as transfer sheets. It's limited to whatever fonts they sell, but it does show each letter in each font. The URL is: www.letraset.com. I did a quick look, but couldn't find a catalogue, but it might be there somewhere.

Albert, the charted alphabet book makes me tingle ALL over. I'm a typography professor, as well as a lover of the knitted word, and I would just DIE if I could have that book. Or write it myself. Hmmmmmm.
